I’ve been using rewards credit cards for over three years.
I started using reward credit cards after I joined a network marketing program that had a rewards credit card.
The card worked like this, for every dollar I spend I would get a point in there compensation system.
So to take advantage of the rewards I transferred all my network marketing sending to that credit card.
Then I looked at all the sending I was doing on my debit card and thought what if I was using a rewards credit card instead.
At that time the only rewards credit card I had was the Chase Toy R Us rewards credit card.
So I started using that card for the majority of my purchases.
By using the two credit cards I collected a lot of points in the network marketing company and Toy R Us gift cards.
But $200 dollars in Toy R Us gift cards and network marketing points just didn’t cut it.
So I got two new rewards credit cards. The American Express Blue Cash Card and the Citi Dividend Cash Card.
I stopped using the network marketing credit card and used my American Express, Citi, and Chase cards everywhere I could.
That year I got back about $300 dollars in cash and $150 in Toy R Us gift cards.
But I had to find a replace for the Toy R Us card, because Toy R Us is fine for kids but I grow up.
Then I got the Capital One No Hassel Cash Back rewards credit card. And the rewards really started adding up.
After I got the Capital One card I received $500 that year in rewards and the next year
I received about $600 total in credit card rewards. In addition to credit card rewards I also
receive another $400 in rewards from reward websites. That’s $1000 plus in total rewards just
for sending my money.
That my story. If you have a rewards story you would like to share send it to story@userewardscreditcards.com.
